Frank Li, MD is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. During his fellowship training at UCLA he received specialized training in interventional pain management procedures, acute and chronic pain treatment, and opioid medication management. After which practiced in Beverly Hills for six years and taught general and advanced pain medicine to USC Family Practice Residents and UCLA Pain Fellows.
He returned to Seattle to care for his parents and started the Seattle Pain Center in 2008. Dr. Li is currently caring for Dr. John D. Loeser’s patients after Dr. Loeser’s retirement from the UW and continues to advance his work in intrathecal pump and neuromodulation therapies for pain and spasticity.
Dr. Li enjoys teaching and is involved in the research and development of medical devices to improve pain care.

Dr. Li understands that good pain care goes beyond nerve blocks and medications. At Seattle Pain Center, Dr. Li offers and individualized approach to pain care, from conservative treatment to the most advanced, minimally invasive pain procedures. Emphasis is placed on maximizing functionality and reducing opioid reliance.
